What is Ozonated Olive Oil?
Ozonated Olive Oil (OOO)
is produced when ozone gas is bubbled through olive oil continuously for approximately 3 weeks – During this time the olive oil changes to an off-white gel with a consistency similar to Vaseline. Quality OOO production uses a medical grade ozone generator, and makes ozone gas from pure oxygen, not air, which is bubbled through cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil. Essential fatty acid molecules of the olive oil are changed to become long-chain molecules called ozonides (C10H18O3) whose many healing properties are due to the antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties of their inherent nascent (active) oxygen. Renowned inventor, Nikola Tesla produced the first OOO in 1900.
